- Back by Popular Demand: Learning Day at KubeCon + CloudNative 2023!
Seeking to take your Kubernetes knowledge to the next level? At the KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2023 tradeshow, learning will have a strong presence in Kasten’s booth (P7). We’re also excited to host Learning Day (April 18 - 12:00 to 16:00), a free, in-person live event featuring two different hands-on labs designed to help you improve your Kubernetes knowledge and meet the learning community.
Expand Your Kubernetes Skill Set
Learning Day gives Kubernetes users of all levels the chance to network with cloud native thought leaders and learn real-world skills during our hands-on labs. Our free learning site, KubeCampus.io, consistently earns high scores for its Kubernetes courses and Kubernetes Learning Day is another way to ensure the community can benefit from them.
During these 2-hour labs, you will:
- Gain valuable knowledge about Kubernetes, a highly in-demand skill
- Build your resume and share lab completion badges on LinkedIn
- Make valuable contacts with industry experts and community members
We offer two courses:
- The Rookie Course - Kubernetes Networking Fundamentals: – An intro for new Kubernetes users interested in learning the basics of networking including Kubernetes Services, microservices and load balancing.
- The Pro Course - Kubernetes Troubleshooting – A deep dive for those with some Kubernetes experience who want to practice troubleshooting and problem-solving. In this lab you will work with an application that has become unavailable and you will be required to fix the issues as necessary.
Whether you are a Kubernetes rookie or a seasoned pro, this event offers many opportunities for you to learn and grow.
KubeCampus.io. Momentum Continues
Since its rebranding from Learning.Kasten.io, at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2022, KubeCampus.io continues to build momentum. Designed to be a neutral gathering place for the open source learning community rather than a vendor-based resource, the site delivers a new and exciting community platform for learning cloud native and Kubernetes concepts and skills that are increasingly in demand. Visitors will find additional opportunities for certification and in-person training, as well.
As of March 2023, KubeCampus.io has attracted over 18,000 registrations, with thousands of learning resources downloaded and nearly 12,500 courses completed. The more the community engages, the more everyone learns! Check it out!
Here are some additional reasons you should join the KubeCampus learning community:
- You’ll earn digital badges for each course completed
- You can participate in upcoming Kubernetes Community events
- You can chat with and learn from Kubernetes subject matter experts
- You’ll get your top Kubernetes questions addressed on Slack or email
