Join Ingvarr Zhmakin, Solution Architect at Visma, one of Europe’s largest software companies, and Niraj Tolia, co-founder at Kasten, to discover their backup journey on Red Hat OpenShift.

Given the breadth and scale of Kubernetes applications currently deployed by developers, Ingvarr will cover the core requirements of a Kubernetes-native backup solution, why legacy products don’t work as expected with cloud-native applications, and how Visma used Kasten’s K10 data management platform to deliver a transparent backup and disaster recovery solution to all users.

Using an interactive, demo-driven approach, we will show how Kasten K10 was deployed on-premises with OpenStack and Cinder. More importantly, Ingvarr will also cover the critical Day 2 requirements of operating securely and at scale with a cloud-native data protection platform including authentication, RBAC, multi-tenancy, monitoring, auditing, alerting, and more!
